Great Kitchens Inc. is a Full Service Kitchen and Bath Design and Construction company. Initially, we like for you to come into our Showroom to see the types of kitchens/baths that we design, the quality of materials used, photos of past jobs and to meet our staff.

If we do a project for you, we are going to be a part of each others lives for a while, and we do feel that it's very important that we can work together. Personalities are different, and all people are very different. We have to be able to come together and work toward the complete satisfaction of your project. This is your kitchen! While we will lead you to the correct design decisions, you will have to provide a direction. Communication is crucial.

   

Once we discover that we are all working on the same page, we will come out to your home, at no charge, to discuss with you all of the possibilities for your kitchen or bath remodel. At this time we will be able to give you an approximate cost based on that discussion. Actual costs will vary, of course, once specifics are determined.

If you decide that you would like to work with us, we will take a retainer at this time and put you on our construction list. For this retainer we will measure your kitchen/bath, put it on paper and work out various solutions. We will meet with you several times to discuss layout, types of materials desired, budget and the overall look of the project. This is what we call the Design Phase. At the end of this phase we will have chosen the layout, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, appliances, sinks, faucets, color and finish for all of the above. Now we can do an estimate based on those particular items.
 
Once an estimate has been approved we move into the Construction Phase and write the contracts. First, one is for the cabinetry (it has the longest leadtime) and then one for everything else. We plan our schedule so that we start your construction a few weeks before the cabinetry arrives. We try very hard to have all of the decisions made and questions answered before we start. We work (actual construction) on only one job at a time This way we can give you full attention. We get in, do your project and get out as quickly as we can. Typically this takes approximately 8 weeks. We want you to be back in your kitchen as quickly as possible.

We want a HAPPY CLIENT because we want you to talk to your neighbors and friends about us. Our business is based on referrals, and our reputation is very important to us. We do want you to be happy with the results. Kitchens are expensive, but if done right, they will add considerable value to your home. They are also the heart of the home. The place we all hang out. They should be a true reflection of ourselves.

 

Tad, my partner and the Project Manager at Great Kitchens Inc., thinks that the most fun part of his job is when he gets to tear out the old space and then solve all of the little puzzles. I think the most rewarding, fun part is when I walk into the new space for the first time, once it has been completed, and see what a beautiful space it is and the happy smiles on everyone's faces. Every job is different, but the smiles are always there to greet me.
